In 1965, Jay Isenberg, at the age when
most men retire, had the vision and fortitude
to start a specialty food company with
the support and encouragement of his
beloved wife Dorothy. They started out
of a small garage in Sharon, Massachusetts.
Along with their son David, they worked
tirelessly to build an enduring family
business committed to honesty, hard work
and an unending dedication to both our
valued customers and our loyal employees.
Over 40 years later, the business has
grown immensely and continues to thrive.
Presently, with the third generation
actively involved, Chex Finer Foods is
the leading specialty food distributor,
committed to the needs of the independent
retailer in New England. We take a partnership
approach to our business, both with our
vendors and customers. As such, we represent
the finest specialty food manufacturers
and importers, with a commitment to excellence
and quality.
