Please share a little about your professional background before coming to Chex
I started my career in educational measurement; all those standardized tests that everyone loves to hate were a big part of my life. I have always had a passion for food. When a friend of the family had need for strategic planning I jumped at the chance to help because it was a food business. I ran that company, Culinary Collective, for 5 years; we were acquired after the first three. I then moved to Fortune Fish and Gourmet; a large specialty distributor based in Chicago. I led master data, data integrations, analytics and reporting, marketing, and the deployment of our online ordering platform.
What will you be focusing on in your role at Chex?
My primary focus at Chex is helping us achieve our strategic goals. I will lead our corporate development efforts, as well as our company-wide strategic initiatives. I am here to support the team & see myself as an enabler.
What drew you to wanting to work at Chex?
I had the pleasure of working with Chex when I ran Culinary Collective. It was an awesome company with people who did business in a way I admired. I am so thrilled to be a part of it now.
What are you most excited about in your new role at Chex?
LEARNING! I love learning about people, systems, processes. Chex is such an amazing success story and I love learning what makes it tick!

What is one professional achievement you are most proud of?
I supported the development of a maternity leave program and a part-time employee program to support team members who needed flexibility. They both continued to contribute amazingly to our company and it felt really good to identify ways to support them.
Share a fun fact! What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I love to sew and craft!
